Window Shopping

I seen it in the window and I couldn't resist....
Well, what can I say? I really dont HATE shopping, but I  DisLike it all. I don't like the lines, the prices, and I guess I'm a stick-in-the-mud when it get down to the nitty-gritty Glamor stuff. But I love hearing about my friends 'talk' about their how they went to town and they were looking for STILL looking for some red high heels. I look amazed and say "You STILL cant find those red shoes?" They gaze into my eyes and say "No"....well!  All the drama, all the chaotic turmoil of heartbreak of sale-tags. I know, I'm missing out, but I do okay. I cant say " I seen it in the window, and I HAD to buy it. And I don't go to the Black Friday's Sales either. Sometimes I kinda feel awkward about it, and if I go to walmart, I alot of times put stuff in the cart and just kind a...drive it around in my cart....the shoes, a skirt, maybe a blouse. But what I'm doing is trying to decide 'Now, do I really NEED this....or can I do without it this time?"  95% of the time I put it all back.
Sad isn't it? I guess its how ya look at it. Now I go on-line to Christmas shop, I like that. And how I went shopping to find my husband some new clothes cause he didn't have any. (another chapter)    So here I am, a woman on an island, living vicariously through other women's shopping lives. (plus my feet aint so sore)

I like the part about your feet not being sore! Clever. hehe
I never want to shop on Black Friday either!
I love shopping, but its bad for me because it drains my purse like nothing else! Besides, haha my husband and I are not the richest right now so I can't buy anything new! :( Maybe that's why I am sort of inspired to make everything I see, like purses and skirts, etc. I just think to myself 'Oh I could make that!' and it comforts my sadness at not being able to actually buy it

51 isn't old!! My mom is 53! :) You are only as old as you allow yourself to be. I intend to be 19 years old forever!! :)
